Art direction for Nashville Lifestyles feature “On Pointe,” a fashion story featuring local dancers. This is one of my favorite shoots.
Fashion
Art direction for Nashville Lifestyles “Style Setters” opener ; there were also consecutive solo pages for each person. Worked with the photographer to pose each person.
Product
Art direction for Nashville Lifestyles monthly Editors’ Picks. Partnered with photographer and stylist each month to shoot these fun styled shots and then did the layouts.
Food
Art directed food shoots in studio and on site. Oftentimes, I sketched out the food covers. The features for the food stories often ran as a double-page spread opener inside.
Home
Art direction and styling on site at home shoots for Nashville Lifestyles. Scouted homes, straightened up, fluffed pillows, worked with the photographer on types of shots looking for, did the layouts. These would be longer stories sometimes 8-12 pages of gorgeous imagery. Nashville Lifestyles also had a home magazine called Nashville Lifestyles at Home.
